winter vacay, part 2

I should explain that it was Nate's parents who took us all up to Boyne for the weekend.  We haven't had a Cole extended family vacay in quite a while, so we were due!  Nate and I aren't exactly outdoor lovers in the cold weather, but as you can see from the picture below, the girls were more than happy to get bundled up and go outside!

We took Sasha ice skating the first day and she loved it, although you can see that her skates were a little wobbly.

Lexi watched with Grandpa from the sidelines.

Everyone else did a lot of skiing while we hung out here, where it was much warmer.

Nate and I did go tubing with Justin and Julianne while the girls were napping one afternoon.  Two times down the hill and that was the extent of my outdoor sporting events, other than the outdoor hot tub, of course!

We had lots of time to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and eat some good food.  I may have had a cosmo or two while I was there.

I find it funny that my basket of hair supplies for the girls made it into the picture.  I am never without it!  It was a great trip...thanks Jim and Laurie for the fun time!  :)
