the tradition is back

After several long days of whining and lots of misbehavior, it is always nice to end the afternoon like this...

We have reinstated blanket/reading time while I am cooking dinner.  Not pictured is Alexis in the kitchen playing in her pack and play.  It was getting too dangerous (and a bit maddening!) having the two of them run around while I was trying to cook.  Sasha jumped right back into reading time pretty easily, especially since we raided my parents' stash of books and have now introduced Sasha to the wonderful world of the Berenstein Bears!
