Life in the Farm: summer is happening

I can't believe we are already halfway through June! It seems like everything has been on hold in our lives...we even forgot our anniversary. Until about 9:30 that morning, then we remembered. Very impressive, huh? I guess that's what they say happens at 7 years! But we can cut ourselves a little slack, since that night Alexis decided that she really wanted our company from 1:30am to 3:30am. Then again at 5:00am and again at 6:00am. So that morning was really more about how quickly we could make the coffee. Anyway, the whole fam was on a walk last night and we stopped by the Webbers to say hi. After Julie went running to Sasha yelling "I missed you!" they went and played a little while the adults talked. When Nate went to go get Sasha to leave, she said "I want to hug a Webber!" I asked her which one, and she said "This one!" and pointed to Nicole. She got her hug and it was so cute. She is a big Nicole fan!

We have tried to stay super busy these past couple days and we have gone on a nature hike in the woods, had a craft playgroup at the park with the Mom's club, and gone swimming with my friend Amy and her kids. Tonight J & L come and on Friday we are going to the zoo. So hopefully the days will fly by until Monday at 4:00. Then we can breathe again! Just had to post this cute picture of Sasha and her buddy Ella at the pool. (Note: this adorableness was followed an hour later by a massive tantrum when I told Sasha we had to leave!)
